Placing Your Order

     You can place your order using our secure shopping cart ordering system.

Order Acceptance

     The receipt of an order number or an email order confirmation doesn't constitute the acceptance of an order or a confirmation of an offer to sell. Online Basic Essentials reserves the right, without prior notification, to limit the order quantity on any item and/or to refuse service to any customer. Verification of information may be required prior to the acceptance of any order. Prices, availability of the product, shipping & handling rates, policies on the Site are subject to change without notice. Errors will be corrected when discovered and Online Basic Essentials reserves the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions (including after the order has been submitted).

Where do you ship to?

     We ship to all 50 states via UPS whenever possible. Small orders or orders that have to be shipped to some areas of Hawaii and Alaska may be shipped via USPS. Orders shipped via UPS can not be delivered to P.O. Boxes.

What is the approximate processing and shipping time per order?

     Most items in stock will ship within 3 business days. Holiday season, large orders, out of stock items may take up to 1-3 weeks. In addition, please allow up to 7 business days from the day your order has been shipped for UPS Ground Deliveries to be delivered within the continental United States. Now free shipping applies to all orders.

Payment

    We accept Visa, American Express, PayPal, Master Card and Discover for credit card payments. Credit and debit cards will be authorized upon receipt of order and charged at time of shipping. We apologize for any inconvenience but we currently do not accept credit cards from outside the U.S.A.

Receiving your order

    When order is received be sure it is exactly what was ordered before using or washing. If the item is incorrect please contact customer service for assistance.

Returns / Credits / Fees

     You may return Online Basic Essentials products at any time up until the 30th day after receipt of the product . Simply email or phone to obtain a return authorization. The merchandise returned within 30 days of purchase, in its original packaging and in good condition will either be exchanged or refunded per our return policy (minus s&h and 20% restocking fee) upon return of item(s) by customer. If the packaging is missing, a 30% restocking fee is charged and a store credit issued. Restocking fee applies to original product prices posted prior any discounts taken at time of checking out. Customer is responsible for return of product(s) to correct return address. Refusing a shipment can result in your being charged for the return shipping fees. Returns received used, washed, damaged in any way will not be accepted per Online Basic Essentials policy unless defective. Note: Pillows, mattresses, stuffed items may not be returned once opened due to health laws unless defective. They arrive sealed so you can see them before you open them. But please do not expose returnable items to scents or anything so we can be sure they are still pure. Any found with scents, will be tested, will not be refunded due to unique nature of organics and purity. Please call or email customer service prior to return in order to obtain return address and return authorization number, which is valid for only 10 days from the date issued. Returns received without proper authorization or expired return authorizations will not be accepted. Return authorizations expire after 10 days of being issued. Non-defective items listed as “Discontinued”, “Closeouts” or “Limited Availability” are non-returnable. All sales are final on: sale, clearance items, specials unless defective.

     Refunds, exchanges or credits are normally issued within 2-4 weeks of receipt of return or after inspection of item if required.

    Upon receipt of any return customer may be charged an additional amount for re-shipping item back to customer if item returned has been used, washed, damaged or is a non-returnable item per Online Basic Essentials policy. Refusing a shipment can result in your being charged for the re-shipping fees.

    In your return package please include:

  • The packaging slip.

  • A note telling us what the problem was.

  • A note stating whether you would like a credit or an exchange for another item.

  • Please write return authorization number on the outside of the original package.

Damages/Exchanges/Replacements/ Defects/Claims/Warranties

     Online Basic Essentials offer a 90 days limited warranties on our pillows, comforters and mattress protectors. Items covered on our pillows are defective stitching, excessive loss of fluff (except all cotton pillows - all cotton tends to pack after a few years).

     What is covered on manufacturing defects: on our comforters we cover defective stitching, defective quilting. Mattress protectors are covered for defective stitching, defective quilting and broken or torn elastics. What is not covered by our warranties: stains, soiling, burns, damage caused by moving, transportation costs, comfort preference, sheet fit, damage due to abuse, odors, wool comforters used without a duvet cover, pillows and comforters that have been washed, pitting of fabric from washing, a few minor threads, clumping of fill materials. Online Basic Essentials and its manufacturers are not responsible for normal wear & tear, abuse, mistreatment, damages due to washing and shredded or worn fabrics in areas of usage. If a defect that is covered by our warranties is discovered during the warranty period, we will repair or replace at our option the defective items within a reasonable period of time. We reserve the right to refuse service or invalidate this warranty when upon inspection the item is found to be other than defective materials or workmanship. We do not warrant that our products are suitable for any person's medical condition and our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any diseases. If you are not sure, consult your doctor before ordering or using any of our products. Per Federal Health & Safety Laws, used bedding can not be accepted for returns. Only defective workmanship in the item can be accepted for exchange or returns. Items for exchange must be issued an exchange number and items must be in original resalable condition and not to have been used, washed or damaged in any way per Online Basic Essentials policy. Returnable items which are defective will be issued a full credit if not replaced or exchanged, defective items which are non-returnable will be replaced only. Online Basic Essentials is responsible to cover shipping costs for return of defective items per Online Basic Essentials return policies. A full refund will be issued for item deemed defective if replacement is not possible. Items under warranty which are claimed to be defective and items for exchange must be issued a return authorization number and return instructions by Online Basic Essentials. Wrinkling of fabrics may be common for most 100% cotton. If you received a damaged or incorrect item or have any questions, please call or email Online Basic Essentials customer service.

Cancellations

     Cancellations will be accepted prior to shipping of order by phone only. If an order has already been shipped or was not able to be canceled due to shipping procedures then the customer will be responsible for return of item(s) per Online Basic Essentials product and/or return policy. Item may not be canceled if order is already in production or if shipped. Please contact customer service if you have any questions.

Back-orders / Product Delays & Out of Stock Items

     Back-orders are a result of manufacturer delays in producing products to be shipped Online Basic Essentials customers. It's possible that some items may be temporarily out of stock for as long as 1 to 3 weeks due to color, style, size, manufacturer and mill delays or other unforeseen circumstances. Customers will be notified as soon as possible.

Product Colors

     Although we make every effort to provide true and accurate colors for our products listed on our web site and as a result of individual computers and monitor settings, we cannot guarantee the color(s) viewed on ones monitor will be an exact match to the actual material colors delivered, in addition, we also cannot guarantee that product item is sent that the piece received will match an item ordered of the same material at any other time as dye lots and fabric colors change and may be different from time to time per manufacturing.

Product Sizes

     All finished sizes for products advertised are based on information provided by the manufacturer of the item, sizes may vary slightly depending on conditions during manufacturing, production, material content and washing. Online Basic Essentials and its manufacturers are not responsible for shrinkage of material.

Privacy Statement

     For each visitor to our store, our web server does not automatically recognize or capture any information regarding our customers domain or e-mail address. We collect information volunteered by the customer only. We do not sell or make the customers e-mail address, billing or shipping address and telephone number of our customers available to any outside organization.

Errors

     Errors - Descriptive, typographic or photographic errors are subject to correction. We reserve the right to limit quantities ordered.

Payment Disclaimer Information

     Pursuant to [15 USC 1601] and Bus & PC Section 6850-0956. You may be liable for applicable collection fees, court costs and attorney fees, in the event of an unpaid balance. In the event of any dispute or charged back transaction, such transaction will be investigated by NDCC/AECS. You hereby agree that by entering this site, or by entering into a payment method that such agreement is considered an electronic agreement and you may be held liable for any an all such damages.
